Having fled the witchprickers of Fife and with the new king on a mission to spread witchhunting to England, Lilyan begs her friend Shakespeare not to include witches in his latest play. Meanwhile, Isobel, Mags and Janet – struggling with cloaks and fakes noses in a new production of Macbeth – wonder if this was a good way to mark turning 50 after all.

Jane Livingstone Dunfermline-based writer Jane Livingstone’s previous plays for A Play Pie and a Pint were Miss Veitch’s Roses and Jocky Wilson Said with the latter going on to the Gilded Balloon as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017.
