A Traditional Scottish Hogmanay Music

A Traditional Scottish Hogmanay

A traditional Scottish Hogmanay

The ever-popular Hogmany show returns to the Aberdeen Music Hall for its seventh year and it promises to be the best yet with some of Scotland’s finest musicians and singers. Hosted once again by Robert Lovie, this year’s show features Elgin actor and musician Kevin McKidd (Trainspotting, Brave, Grey's Anatomy) who will be performing a set of his own traditional folk music.

The Jonny Hardie Ceilidh Band are guaranteed to get the party going with a swing and we’re delighted to introduce one of Scotland’s finest young pipers, Calum Brown. Finally, internationally renowned fiddler and the show’s producer, Paul Anderson will feature in a new musical collaboration with Calum Stewart (flute and pipes) and multi-instrumentalist Ali Napier (Dougie MacLean Band) in a new band called “The Doric.”
