Aberdeen Chamber Orchestra presents Beethoven's Choral Symphony
A charity concert for ANCHOR
Aberdeen Chamber Orchestra was formed in 1982 and has established itself at the forefront of amateur orchestral playing in Aberdeen. Programmes have utilised the full variety of orchestral dispositions, from chamber to full symphony orchestra - from the music of the Classical period to contemporary film.
We welcome players, particularly in the string section, who have achieved Associated Board Grade 8 standard or equivalent. Our next concert is on Sunday 28th June 2015 at Aberdeen Music Hall and will be a charity event in support of Friends of Anchor. The programme will feature Beethoven's iconic Choral Symphony and will be a collaboration with choir members from all over Aberdeen. The soloists will be from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
