Sean Shibe

Sell-out shows and multiple curtain calls are the calling card of Edinburgh-born guitarist Sean Shibe who is a former student of the Aberdeen City Music School. A BBC New Generation Artist, still only 21, his playing has been described as: enchancing, expressive, masterful, passionate and instinctive. He recently made his debut playing with both the BBC SSO and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. This summer he participated in the prestigious Marlboro Music

Festival in Vermont at the personal invitation of world renowned concert pianist Mitsuko Uchida. This lunchtime programme will be based around 20th century Spanish works closely associated with Andres Segovia.

“A prodigious technician and supremely expressively player…a masterful account”
