The Edinburgh Quartet collaborates with the outstanding Con Anima Chamber Choir to present an atmospheric concert in St Machar’s Cathedral. The concert opens with Haydn’s meditative String Quartets Op 51 ‘Seven Last Words of Christ’.

After the interval Con Amina perform two motets by James MacMillan - the spectacular Tota pulchra es and the mysterious and intriguing Who are these Angels? in which quartet and choir join forces.  Con Anima conclude the programme with J S Bach’s uplifting motet Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden.
