Fat-Suit have a strength in depth as well as in numbers, and can call on some of Scotland’s finest young musicians. The influence of contemporary exponents of jazz, funk and fusion such as Snarky Puppy, Vulfpeck and GoGoPenguin are obvious influences, but Fat-Suit are already opening up fresh lines of enquiry to entertain as much as to dazzle.

The Jazzman: '“Atlas” succeeds on every level. Fat-Suit's music may often be viscerally exciting but it's also packed with sonic detail and imbued with an underlying subtlety and sophistication.'

LondonJazzNews: “they're a band evolving fast, and conducting fascinating experiments as they go. I'd try and catch them live at one of their rare dates soon, before they evolve again for their next project.”
