Freshly Squeezed Productions & Tortoise In A Nutshell present The Lemon Tree's Christmas Show

Crunch, crunch, crunch,
Flutter, flitter, flutter,
A magical world of winter falls overnight,
A crisp white canvas,
Smooth, untouched, inviting,
Joyful snowflakes gently trickle to the ground, tickling faces as they fall,
Zingy, cool and dangerous ice swooshes and zips by,
Crumbling, booming snow cascades from above.

Flutter is an interactive, immersive performance for 2-6 year olds that takes its audience on a multi-sensory journey through a world of winter snow.

Part installation and part performance, Flutter will transport you to a world filled with snow drifts, winding paths and twinkling stars. A rich palette of materials, puppetry and music combine to create a tactile and multi-sensory show for small hands, eyes, ears and noses. Based around a series of connected short stories, the piece is all about the rhythms of winter; transformation, hibernation, frost, thaw and renewal.

Relaxed Performance, Tuesday 19 December, 3.30pm

Relaxed performances are specifically designed to welcome people on the autistic spectrum, with sensory processing difficulties and/or more complex needs to the theatre to enjoy professional performances. They have a less restrictive, more sensitive atmosphere in order to reduce anxiety levels. Steps are taken to remove access barriers and to make the content as engaging as possible for audiences with a diverse range of needs.

If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact our box office or customer service team who will be happy to help.

A Play, a Pie and a Pint: 'Auntie Agatha Comes To Tea' George Milne @ The Lemon Tree

Damien and Martin are brothers who do not see very much of their elderly Aunt Agatha. But the business is in difficulties. Agatha has wisdom, experience, and money. It’s the money that they want to focus on. Expecting to inherit her cash, and not too enthusiastic about the wait, it is decided the time is right to invite her round for a “ fly cup.” They have also bought some poison. At the visit, revelations unfold, attitudes change, consciences rise and sink, and refreshments are served. Nothing will be the same after Auntie Agatha comes to tea.
