Fit Like Records is a micro operation that is about using networks of like-minded creative people in the North-East of Scotland that work together, lending experience, skills and talents to the wider benefit of creative culture in the North-East.

The overall aim is to enable artists to help themselves through contributions, collaborations and love-ins that provide a new platform to showcase talent that might otherwise be overlooked. 2015 will see various releases on the label of all styles – this evening will be a showcase of some of the material with special guests, one off collaborations and surprises galore. Full list of artists and line up to follow.

The showcase features Tryptamines, Best Girl Athlete, The Little Kicks's Steven Milne, The Great Bear and Death Let Her.

A Play, a Pie and a Pint: 'Auntie Agatha Comes To Tea' George Milne @ The Lemon Tree

Damien and Martin are brothers who do not see very much of their elderly Aunt Agatha. But the business is in difficulties. Agatha has wisdom, experience, and money. It’s the money that they want to focus on. Expecting to inherit her cash, and not too enthusiastic about the wait, it is decided the time is right to invite her round for a “ fly cup.” They have also bought some poison. At the visit, revelations unfold, attitudes change, consciences rise and sink, and refreshments are served. Nothing will be the same after Auntie Agatha comes to tea.
