Hector Bizerk
Formed by drummer/producer Audrey Tait and Scottish battle rap champion Louie, Hector Bizerk have an insatiable desire to experiment with noise, colour, rhythm and rhyme.

“This band has a knack of finding a balance between densely literate, social comment and thunderous festival anthem.“  The List.

Their live show is a crescendo of thought-provoking music that includes elements of live visual art, b-boying and improvisation.  Hector Bizerk is a celebration of modern hip hop culture with a Scottish twist, combining frontman Louie’s razor sharp poetry with incredible tribal rhythms and grooving funk basslines that encapsulates audiences.

Hector Bizerk showcased for NME at South By Southwest in 2015. They recently won the Scottish Alternative Music Award and in 2014 drummer, Audrey was confirmed as one of the top ten female drummers in the world by Hit Like A Girl competition. Critically acclaimed album Nobody Seen Nothing was nominated for Scottish Album of The Year.

The band is steeped in multi-faceted creativity having recently premiered a short film, The Bird That Never Flew, published a book of Louie’s poetry and scored the soundtrack to a play about the troubled life of cancan dancer and mental health sufferer, Jane Avril.
