Freshly Squeezed in conjunction with the Manipulate Visual Theatre Festival are proud and excited to announce this one off collaborative event at The Lemon Tree.

The eveing will see local acts Leanne Smith, Casino Circus and IndianRedLopez perform live in an evening of films and conversation about the challenges and rewards of finding the right new images to fit the conceptual and emotional world of music which already exists.

Over the past four months Thomas Hicks has been working with third year digital media students at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen to help them create seven short films - their creative responses to the following songs of three up-and-coming bands and musicians from the North East of Scotland:

SNOWFLAKE & SOLITAIRE Leanne Smith

OLD TOWN & USUAL WAYS Casino Circus

AT NIGHT I DREAM OF STORMY SEAS, COMMIT & TAKING A FALL FOR ME IndianRedLopez

Freshly Squeezed is a once monthly night of new talent at the Lemon Tree which features a mixture of local, touring and up and coming bands that we at APA believe to be en route to a bright future.

The manipulate Visual Theatre Festival has been quoted as being “Dedicated to theatre at its most sensual and imaginative” by The Scotsman
