The Cliftons

The Cliftons is a four-piece indie rock band formed in March last year. Their lineup has chopped and changed but now they’ve settled on a sound, inspired by Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg etc.

According to their frontman James: “The only reason we play music is for our souls’ enjoyment: we don't write music for the purpose of selling – we use it as an outlet.”

You can find The Cliftons’ music on Soundcloud, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, and their EP is set to come out in the next two months.

"For such a young band, they have a polished, mature, sincere sound, and in 5 years The Cliftons would like to see themselves with an album behind them, doing this for a living - because there's nothing better than doing something you love for a living." SHMU FM, Band of the Week Show
