Gus Stirrat Band is a five piece, jazz fusion line up, lead by bassist and composer, Gus Stirrat. The band consists of some of Scotland's finest musicians: tenor saxophonist Mikey Butcher (Fat-Suit), pianist Alan Benzie (Alan Benzie Trio), drummer Mark Scobbie (Manran) and guitarist Ben MacDonald (Elusive Tree).

Having grabbed the attention of Jazz Scotland, GSB has performed at festivals as the Islay Jazz Festival, the Fife Jazz festival and the Restless Natives Festival. The band supported the Stan Sulzmann Quartet live on Radio 3's Jazz Line Up as part of an international jazz day 2016 celebration. The band has plans to record their debut album in 2017.
