Giorgio Serci & Jonny Phillips - Guitar Journey Duet

An eclectic mix of classical, jazz and folkloric acoustic guitar styles performed and arranged by two of London most critically acclaimed contemporary exponents. They will take you on a musical journey following the development of the Acoustic guitar from its origins in Spain and North Africa along a path throughout Europe, Africa and the Americas.

Giorgio Serci – Spanish Guitar
Born in Sardinia, Giorgio Serci is an award winning guitarist, composer and arranger. He has worked with Jools Holland, Shirley Bassey, Julian Lloyd Webber, Martin Taylor and the Philharmonic Berlin amongst others.

Jonny Phillips – Spanish Guitar
Jonny is known for his band Oriole and performing with artists such as Arun Ghosh, Polar Bear, Julia Biel, Roland Gift and Shabaka Hutchins. His influences include Brazilian samba, flamenco, art rock and jazz, which he mixes to electrifying effect.
