 Graeme Stephen Faust

Award winning Guitarist and Composer Graeme Stephen tours his Silent Film Scores with some of the most adventurous and talented musicians in the UK. His scores take influence from Folk, Jazz and Classical music giving these classic films a fresh, exciting update.

Graeme won the Innovation Award for his Score to the classic Silent film “Sunrise’ at the 2013 Scottish jazz awards. He won the instrumentalist of the year award at the 2012 Scottish jazz awards and has gained critical acclaim for his playing and compositions.

His band features some of the most adventurous and talented musicians from the UK. London based Bassist Mario Caribe is well knowm to Aberdeen audience as are. Phil and Tom Bancroft who join Graeme in an outstanding quartet.

The group will perform Graeme’s score to a screening of the classic Silent Horror Film “Faust”. One of the most iconic silent films from the 1920’s created by the German Expressionist Film Maker F’W Murnau.
