Join us for an intimate celebration of the Music Hall’s past, present and future
As the Music Hall prepares to close its doors for a £7m transformation, we’ve created a special one off performance that paints a picture of the building’s past and hopes for its future all told through the stories and memories you’ve shared with us. Many of the stories will be told by the people themselves. Some funny, some inspiring, many unbelievable, but all true and all set against the bigger picture of the history of the Music Hall.
Expect a peek behind the scenes, poetry from our Youth Theatre and a rare opportunity to hear the magnificent organ being played. Tales from those who have worked, performed or simply been inspired in the building will be brought to life through film, photographs and music. You might even get the chance to share your story on the night!
This is the last opportunity to experience the Music Hall as we know it today. So join us and be part of history as you’ve never experienced it before, all compéred by Scottish entertainer Robert Lovie and directed by Douglas Irvine.
There are so many ways that you can show your support to the Music Hall Transformation, and help secure its place at the heart of city life for generations. Please click donate and help us reach our goal and be part of the excitement.
