A New Adventures and Re:Bourne Production

‘Matthew Bourne has brought dance to the masses like nobody else’
The Scotsman

Based on the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding
Choreographed by Scott Ambler
Adapted and directed by Matthew Bourne and Scott Ambler

“What are we? Humans? Animals? Or savages?”

Lord of the Flies (William Golding) is a thrilling tale of what can happen when a group of young males are stranded. With no adults around they start to create their own rules and to build their own civilisation. As time passes order finally breaks down and blood is spilt.

Transferring the action from desert island to abandoned theatre, Matthew Bourne’s Internationally renowned Dance Company, New Adventures, are looking for young men from Aberdeen to join the cast and bring this exciting story to life.
