Alan Spence is one of Scotland’s best loved writers, an award-winning poet and playwright, novelist and short story writer. He is Professor Emeritus in Creative Writing at University of Aberdeen, where he founded the WORD Festival and ran it for 12 years. His most recent books are the novel Night Boat, the poetry collection Morning Glory and the play No Nothing which was performed at the Lemon Tree.  Join Alan for a memorable reading of new work with a few of his greatest hits!  Book Signing: 5.30pm, May Tent, King’s Lawn
