Actress, singer, comedienne, raconteur and lifelong political campaigner will be appearing in this year’s May Festival. Join the exclusive ‘in conversational style event” chaired by BBC journalist Fiona Stalker. Elaine is the only woman to headline Aberdeen’s His Majesty’s Theatre having done so over the last seven years. Elaine will talk about her new show Annie coming to the Granite City and her involvement in the recent hit UK tours the Susan Boyle story I Dreamed a Dream and Calendar Girls. She will also share insights into her extensive career in television and in particular her iconic role in Rab C Nesbitt and the new BBC network sitcom Two Doors Down plus the making of her own show Elaine C Smith’s Burdz Eye View.
