After the resurrection, Jesus was no longer constrained by time or space. And yet his followers stay firmly attached to images of a very “classical” Jesus. Lucy’s poems unpack some of the expectations and stereotypes we put upon Jesus, and explore what contemporary Christ is doing and saying. Funny, poignant, powerful, annoying – her poems are all this.
