Sheena Blackhall is a writer, illustrator, traditional ballad singer and storyteller, who became Makar for Aberdeen and the North-East in 2009. An Honorary Fellow of the WORD Centre for Creative Writing, she has published 4 Scots novellas, 12 short story collections and over 80 poetry collections. Her Selected Poems: The Space Between, was published in 2014. David Wheatley teaches at the University of Aberdeen and is Co-Director of the WORD Centre for Creative Writing. His poetry collections include A Nest on the Waves and Flowering Skullcap. He is a regular reviewer for The Guardian, and Judge for the National Poetry Competition 2015.
