Winner of the Robert Robson Award for Dance at the Manchester Theatre Award
In 2014 Michael Clark Company returns to Aberdeen with a new work set to a soundtrack by Relaxed Muscle, Scritti Politti and The Sex Pistols amongst others.
This piece continues Clark’s history of close collaboration with contemporary artists, designers and musicians, and includes lighting design from Charles Atlas and costumes by Stevie Stewart.
'There is nothing in dance quite like a work by Michael Clark. Each piece he makes is as unmistakable as a Jackson Pollock painting or a Warhol screen print' Telegraph ★★★★
'The dancers are formidable, and the lighting and costumes are transfixing' Guardian ★★★★
'Spare and delicate, its austere aesthetic pulses with alien beauty as dancers criss cross the stage… [an] exhilarating triple bill' Daily Express ★★★★
'They’re ravishing… By the end, Clark’s focused exercises have developed their own punk flourish.' Independent ★★★★
