NAFCo Days Oot are a great way for visitors and locals to experience Aberdeenshire with a musical twist.
Alexander Walker was a journeyman of many talents. Across his lengthy career, he composed almost 200 fiddle tunes. This bus journey is in honour of his vast contribution to fiddle music, which reaches far and wide to this day. Paul Anderson, Troy MacGillivray and Shelly Campbell will provide live soundtrack to the landscapes along the tour. There will also be a heritage guide to provide an insight in to Alexander Walker’s background, as well as the history behind his tunes. There will be stops at Dinnet for coffee, with further stops at Tarland and the Lonach Hall. Refreshments and lunch will be available to purchase on the day at Glenbuchat Hall.
