Peter Asher enjoyed a huge hit as Peter & Gordon with the Paul McCartney penned "A World Without Love." With The Beatles' Apple Records label, Peter Asher signed the unknown James Taylor. He went on to manage and produce most of Taylor's classic platinum albums. The multi-Grammy Award winning Asher also managed and/or produced Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Cher, 10,000 Maniacs, Neil Diamond, Ringo Starr, Randy Newman, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Kenny Loggins, Robin Williams and Diana Ross and many other superstars.

Lee was a member of Chris Farlowe’s Thunderbirds and Country Fever plus he has played in bands with Eric Clapton, Glenn Campbell, Joe Cocker, Earl Scruggs, Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings and Ricky Skaggs (who got a hit with Albert Lee's "Country Boy"). Lee is among the world class musicians who appeared at the Royal Albert Hall’s Concert For George.
