Once again a fantastic performance for us big kids! Hilarious local jibes throughout. And although staged, the mishaps were funny. Only let down by the 3D projection failing half way through. The screen flickered, half of it went blue and whilst the video carried on there was no more 3D. Felt really sorry for the kids around us as they all sighed :-(

The 3D segment of the show is entirely unsuitable for young children. My daughters aged 5 and 3 were terrified. There should have been a warning in the information available advertising the show so parents could have made an informed choice, I would not have taken my children had I been aware.

Went 2/12/15 at 7pm, family in upper circle, fantastic show! Wasn't disappointed! 3D effects were fantastic, better than the cinema! Lots of laughter, surprises and much more, highly recommend!!!!

Although I enjoyed the main panto content I had went along with my grandchildren who are 4 and 6 yrs old. The 3D part of the pantomime was extremely scary for them and they were both frightened and upset. Since pantomimes are family affairs and most certainly should be aimed more for children of all ages I feel there should at least be a warning about the content of the 3D part of the show. Alternatively I would suggest that instead of sharks and piranha fish and octopus tentacles and zombies coming out towards you it should be treasure chests and treasures that would be contained within treasure chests, and pirate ships and the likes which wouldn't frighten young children. I always go to pantomimes to have a laugh and lighthearted fun and go along every year. I expect next year my grandchildren will not want to go along having been so frightened this year.
