'What country, friends, is this?' Viola Twelfth Night

Tonight we’re heading back to 1601 to re-imagine a visit of the Kings Players to Aberdeen in that year.  We’ll present the documented evidence, raise questions on how and where the Players would have performed, as well as explore the relevance of their visit today. Along the way we’ll perform extracts of Twelfth Night, one of the possible Shakespeare plays staged by the Players during their historic visit.  This is a joint event between Aberdeen Performing Arts and the School of Language and Literature at the University of Aberdeen.

This is a free, but ticketed event. Unfortunately this venue is not currently wheelchair accessible. Please contact venue directly for any access info queries.
