A poor old shoemaker has only one pair of shoes left and not enough money to pay his rent! With the help of two mischievous elves, he makes some very unusual shoes that are very much appreciated by their new owners and in return he rewards his two tiny helpers. This fun adaption of the Grimm’s tale is told with the help of beautiful elf puppets, transformed objects found in a cobbler’s shop and of course, lots of lovely shoes!

Established in 1987, Clydebuilt is one of Scotland’s leading touring puppet companies, touringextensively throughout the UK and annually performing over 200 shows, also performing in China, Germany and the Middle East. For the past seventeen years Clydebuilt has presented its productions at the Puppet Animation Festival.

"The children loved it, the parents loved it and the grandparents loved it too, thank you so much" Audience member
