Fresh from its recent tour of China, where audiences danced in the aisles to its music, the SFO returns to its "Home in Aberdeen".

The programme will include a piece of Chinese music from the tour, which was very popular with the audiences, and of course the lively evening will also include jigs, reels, strathspeys and hauntingly beautiful slow airs, together with songs and dances. Internationally acclaimed young soprano Arlene Rolph will make her first appearance with the SFO.

Audience favourite Dennis Haggerty, tenor, conductor Blair Parham, young dancers, members of the award-winning Bucksburn Novice and Junior Pipe Band, and the inimitable Jim McColl, of the BBC's Beechgrove Garden, will complete the line-up.

This will be a memorable evening for anyone who enjoys Scottish Music.

The SFO's new CD will be available, and the show may also make you want to dance in your seat!
