 A programme of music from Canada, Iceland and Scotland. ‘Icebergs et Soleil de minuit’ by Simon Martin pays homage to the distinguished Canadian painter Jean‐Paul Riopelle. In 1977, after visiting the stark northern landscapes, Riopelle painted a black and white series entitled Icebergs, including ‘Midnight Sun’ (Quartet in White). ‘Moonbow’ by upcoming Icelandic composer, Gunnar Andreas Kristinsson, is the premiere of a new piece

commissioned by the Quatuor Bozzini.
