Singing Shakespeare

Phoenix Hall, Newton Dee, Aberdeen

Come and celebrate Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary, listening to an informal performance of songs inspired by Shakespeare’s words. These will be performed by a choir of local singers who will have been rehearsing all
day with renowned choral conductor and Artistic Director of the Singing Shakespeare project, David Wordsworth.
Works will include contemporary pieces from the Novello Shakespeare Collection as well as some songs from West Side Story!

Singing Shakespeare is brought to you by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust as part of our celebrations of Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary.
