Singing Shakespeare - workshop

Phoenix Hall, Newton Dee, Aberdeen

 14+ for workshop

Join in the global celebrations of 400 years since William Shakespeare’s death with a day of songs written and inspired by him, led by renowned choral conductor and Artistic Director of the Singing Shakespeare project, David Wordsworth.
All singers are welcome, some experience of singing in a choir and the ability to read music will be useful for the day. We will be singing contemporary works from the Novello Shakespeare Collection, an exciting anthology of choral works set to Shakespeare's words. Other repertoire will include songs from West Side Story and a new piece commissioned especially for the Singing Shakespeare festival.
