The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland was established 105 years ago to promote awareness and conserve declining populations of species, this has been core to the mission ever since. Today zoos are responsible science hubs developing research techniques to contribute to conservation and understanding. Here we will be discussing the current projects carried out by RZSS and what the future holds for zoos worldwide.
