Radiation Therapy for Cancer Treatment: insights into the profession

Sonal is a Medical Physicist, Radiation Therapy Technologist, Clinical Educator, Science Communicator and an advocate for Women in STEM. She is on a mission to help young minds develop and cultivate their interests in STEM fields by guiding them about the future opportunities and showing them what their involvement can mean in rapidly transforming world.
She has 10 years of combined clinical, medical device and technology industry experience in Medical Physics and Radiation Therapy. From treating cancer patients with Radiation therapy to helping develop those lifesaving cancer therapy machines, her journey is about making difference. She is also a founder of Talking Science, a digital online community to build relationships for organizations and individuals in STEM fields and raise STEM awareness.
Sonal is a storyteller where she enjoys talking about radiation physics, linear accelerator technology and cancer biology, weaving a meaningful story that is sure to intrigue curious minds.
In her talk she will give insights on profession and professionals involved in Radiation therapy care of cancer patients.
