Phoenix Theatre in conjunction with Phoenix Youth Theatre present

Shall we dance? Yes, you certainly will! Aberdeen’s Phoenix Theatre, in conjunction with the children of Phoenix Youth Theatre, present the stunning and spectacular musical The King and I.

For over 60 years this Rodgers and Hammerstein classic has captivated millions with its delightful story of Anna Leonowens who is brought to the court of Siam as tutor to the King’s many children. Memorable songs abound, including Whistle a Happy Tune, Getting to Know You and, most famously, Shall We Dance? The show is a dazzling musical celebration and something rather extraordinary – it is a story of love and joy set to one of the most glorious, beautiful and unforgettable scores ever written.

This sensational and sumptuous production of The King and I will thoroughly entertain and enthral the entire family.
