The Trickery

Alan Rorrison has been a performer and creator in magic for just under 20 years. His unique style helped him get underground acclaim when he started to release his own material into the magic community. As the years went on, other people started to notice Alan’s work. This lead to him being one of the top Consultants for stage and T.V. Magic around the world and working with many top names in the magic industry. In short, if you have watch a magic show in the past 10 years you have probably seen some of Alan’s work without knowing it. Of course he loves to perform also and his unique Style and character landed him a spot on national T.V. Himself on Penn and Tellers fool us where he managed to fool Penn Jillette with his own take on a classic magic effect.

To this day Alan Is still a creative consultant in the T.V. Industry for Watch, ITV, Chanel 4 and E4 so keep your eyes peeled as you never know when you might see some of his work.

We also welcome Eliot Bibby. Elliot has been performing magic since the age of 10, when he witnessed his first magic trick in Hamleys Toy Shop in London. Since then he has performed at numerous venues across the UK and Europe, currently holding 2 residencies, one at Tigerlily & Lulu in Edinburgh, and also at the prestigious Gleneagles resort. He won the ‘Fletcher Cup’ in the Scottish Championships for magic (SAMS) for his act that you’ll see on the night.

Elliot is a fun and entertaining magician, and can’t wait to debut at The Trickery.

We also welcome back Crystina Wilde for another night of dark delights. Crystina is a rare breed of performance artist: terrifying and seductive in equal measures. Her graceful, delicate movement is offset by the predominantly macabre themes of her acts creating a jarring contrast that will completely draw you in and leave your jaw on the floor.

With a darkly stunning look Crystina Wilde defines the word sultry and backs it up …all the way with cleverly choreographed routines of fairy tale narrative with a sexy twist.

A Play, a Pie and a Pint: 'Auntie Agatha Comes To Tea' George Milne @ The Lemon Tree

Damien and Martin are brothers who do not see very much of their elderly Aunt Agatha. But the business is in difficulties. Agatha has wisdom, experience, and money. It’s the money that they want to focus on. Expecting to inherit her cash, and not too enthusiastic about the wait, it is decided the time is right to invite her round for a “ fly cup.” They have also bought some poison. At the visit, revelations unfold, attitudes change, consciences rise and sink, and refreshments are served. Nothing will be the same after Auntie Agatha comes to tea.
