Something wicked this way comes...
June brings a higher level of danger than we have ever had at The Trickery before.
Welcome to the weird world of Murray and Fearchara, two of Europe’s top Mentalists and Escape Artists. With Magic, Stunts and Escapes from the Firelight shows of Dustbowl era North America you will be at the edge of your seat. Expect displays of telepathy, Russian Roulette with loaded Berettas and the most dangerous escape known to any Escapologist, the deadly Milk Can.
Made famous by Harry Houdini in 1908, the Milk Can has been enthralling audiences ever since, but is still one of the most difficult things an escapologist can attempt... can you hold your breath for as long as it takes?
"Thrilling....The Master and Mistress of magic Victorian style had me on the edge of my seat. Your hands will hurt from applauding." Gail Shevlin, Glasgow
"Gripping Performance" Dumfries & Galloway Life Magazine
"Terrifying!!!" Peter Renwick, Arts Festival Organiser
"Finally got to see this great show, full of amazing and spectacular mind reading and a lot more. The opening act was outstanding. Highly recommend this.." Andy Robertson
"Went to see Murray and Fearchara for the first time, it won’t be the last. A very enjoyable, mystifying, atmospheric show, at one point they had almost the entire audience jumping out their seats." Ewen Wilson
We also welcome back Peachy Malone by popular demand. Peachy is a pint-sized performer who guarantees a cheeky wink and a flash of thigh in every performance. Ms. Malone loves to make every performance special by mixing styles and not limiting herself to any one discipline. A local lass that’s guaranteed to delight, you won’t want to miss Peachy as she debuts 2 new acts at The Trickery.
With more acts to be announced in the upcoming weeks, we guarantee a night of cabaret entertainment like no other.
