Lemon Tree Late & Festival Pass show

Aberdeen Performing Arts presents True North – Aberdeen’s festival of music and song – will take place in venues around the city from Thursday 22 - Sunday 25 September. The festival is inspired by the fantastic heritage of singer-songwriters in the North-east, and features a line-up of iconic musicians and emerging talent.

Scottish two-piece Honeyblood is Stina Marie Claire Tweeddale and Cat Myers. The band started from humble DIY beginnings by organising their own guerrilla show in Glasgow, where they showcased tracks recorded in their bathroom with one microphone. They have gone on to support Catfish and the Bottlemen, Belle and Sebastian and the Foo Fighters at Murrayfield Stadium in 2015. They are now working on an album.

With support from Bossy Love.

Not the typical RnB/pop pair, Bossy Love is enigmatic duo Amandah Wilkinson and John Baillie, who approach music with a punk attitude and plenty of talent. They played the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury Festival this year and are currently working on their debut EP to be released later this year.
