Lemon Tree Late & Festival Pass show

Aberdeen Performing Arts presents True North – Aberdeen’s festival of music and song – will take place in venues around the city from Thursday 22 - Sunday 25 September. The festival is inspired by the fantastic heritage of singer-songwriters in the North-east, and features a line-up of iconic musicians and emerging talent.

Lonelady
Musician Julie Campbell, A.K.A Lonelady, first started recording tracks in her towerblock flat in her hometown of Manchester, while completing a degree in fine art. Her first gigs featured Julie alone, playing electric guitar along to a drum machine. Since then she has toured in the UK and Europe and recently released her second studio album Hinterland. Her music references the northern post-punk sound of her native Manchester.
