She is currently finishing her Masters degree in Sonic Arts at the University of Aberdeen and will be commencing her PhD in January 2017. Her interests lie primarily in sound design, acousmatic composition and audio-visual installations, and, having worked with a number of local artists and filmmakers, Bea has much experience writing for films, documentaries and installations. Her work has been premiered as far East as South Korea and her most recent collaboration with her partner, Mark Dunsmore, will be premiered in Philadelphia, USA. She has also performed across Scotland with Shift->Enter, a live coding ensemble consisting of six postgraduate sonic artists from Aberdeen University.
