Sara Stroud is a moving image practitioner and lecturer based in Aberdeen. Her previous work included an eclectic mixture of mediums and took her on many travels. This included creating willow sculptures in Luxembourg, Graffiti Art in Lisbon, film making in Sydney and finally commissions for Channel 4. Returning to the North East in 2004, Sara’s career focused on sharing her film making skills in communities and schools.
The Stepping Out Project is an exciting opportunity to engage in making her own work and develop collaborative work with North East Artists. Sara hopes to engage local audiences; using film, animation and experimenting with installations, creating narratives about the Music Halls past, present and future.
