Aberdeen Performing Arts launch TheatreBus

Aberdeen Performing Arts launch TheatreBus

From September, we’re introducing a special TheatreBus service along popular routes after shows on busy nights. On Friday and Saturday evenings after the performances shown below, there will be dedicated buses to take theatregoers home. The buses will be waiting outside His Majesty's Theatre and will leave exactly 15 minutes after the curtain comes down.

· Book in advance to guarantee your seat
· Your TheatreBus ticket will be vaild on your inbound journey on any Stagecoach bus
· Travel with people who like you have just seen the show
· No walk to the bus stop or waiting in the rain!
· Enjoy a drink in the bar without worrying about the new rules

Enjoy these benefits for the following performances:

· Dirty Dancing (Friday 8.30pm & Saturday 7.30pm performances)
· Scottish Ballet’s Elsa Canasta and Motion of Displacemen
· Shawshank Redemption
· Rebecca
· And Then There Were None
· Jesus Christ Superstar
· White Christmas

We will be running the buses along the following routes so just sit back and enjoy the journey home - see below for full routes.

Route 1: Portlethen & Stonehaven
Route 2: North Deeside Road to Peterculter & Banchory
Route 3:  Kintore, Kemnay & Inverurie

How it works:

I would like to write an article for our local community magazine in Belhelvie parish and wondered if you could let me have some up to date details/comments about the theatre bus - and if there is a route that comes out balmedie/Belhelvie/Whitecairns way.

Thank you.

Doesn't cover cove bay?

Great idea but pity it doesn't cover Moray.

That is a really good idea. Can you use this service if you hold an over 60's bus pass?
