The voice of hit TV show Love Island will come to Aberdeen next year.
Iain Stirling will bring his new tour, U OK HUN? X to The Lemon Tree on February 10 next year.
APA’s Director of Programming and Creative Projects Ben Torrie said: “Iain Stirling has won the hearts of many and we’re so pleased to be welcoming him back to The Lemon Tree. His witty, razor sharp humour has seen him tour all over the country and land prime time spots on TV, so I’m sure his Aberdeen date will be in high demand.”
The BAFTA-winning comedian, writer and presenter will explore dinner party etiquette, feminism and the pressures on a generation brought up in a world of instant gratification.
Iain Stirling is currently on our screens as the host of ITV2’s newest hit gameshow CelebAbility and ITV’s Love Island. His intuitive humour has previously been seen on Virtually Famous (E4), Drunk History and Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (both Comedy Central), Russell Howard's Good News and Sweat the Small Stuff (both BBC Three) and Fake Reaction and Safe Word (both ITV2). The London-based comedian is also known for presenting CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework. A firm Edinburgh Fringe favourite, Iain has sold out the festival an impressive five times to date.
In his new tour, Iain will be giving his unique take on questions such as: How has modern living affected our ability to find long-term happiness? And can social media ever reflect real life? And why is the floor lava?
There will be an age restriction in place for this show, of ages 14+. Tickets are on general sale today from aberdeenperformingarts.com, by phone on (01224) 641122 and in person at the Box Office at The Lemon Tree and His Majesty’s Theatre.
