Dara Ó Briain to craic Aberdeen this October

Mock the Week host, The Apprentice: You’re Fired star and the man behind the Dara Ó Briain: School of Hard Sums show Dara Ó Briain is all set to take a craic at Aberdeen this autumn.

For the Irish comedian is to take his new 2012 live show, Craic Dealer, to Aberdeen’s Music Hall on Sunday, October 14.

Tickets go at saleto APA Friends at 9.30am tomorrow (Thursday) and to the general public at 9.30am on Friday (August 31) online at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.

Aberdeen Performing Arts press manager Joyce Summers said: “We are delighted to be part of Dara’s 2012 tour – he is one of the most down-right funny live performers working the comedy circuit today.

“His shows were a sellout when he last performed here – in March 2010 – and I know his legion of fans have been keenly waiting for a return gig.

“I expect the tickets for this October show to go flying out of the door.”

One of the country’s best-known comedians, who has performed all over the world, Dara has also featured in Don't Feed the Gondolas, Have I Got News For You, QI, and Stargazing Live, as well as starring in the BBC’s Three Men in a Boat and in his own television shows.
