Extra HMT date for comedian Sean Lock and additional tickets for Sarah Millican

Aberdeen Performing Arts can today reveal an additional date at His Majesty’s Theatre for funnyman Sean Lock

The acclaimed comedian, who can be seen leading his team on topical comedy show 8 Out of 10 Cats, has added a second date to his Aberdeen visit in October. He will return to the Granite City on Sunday, October 9 and Monday, October 10, with his latest stand-up show, Keep it Light, which will take place at HMT as part of the Music Hall’s Stepping Out programme of events. Tickets for the additional Monday performance are available from Friday.

A spokeswoman for Aberdeen Performing Arts said: “We’re delighted Sean will perform an extra date at HMT. His clever and witty routines are always a hit in Aberdeen and tickets are bound to sell quickly for both nights.”

Having made his stage debut more than 15 years ago, Sean Lock has become one of the UK’s most highly acclaimed and original comedians. His stand-up is the product of a hyperactive imagination combining surreal imagery and insightful observations with hilarious results. The comedian is a regular at London’s Comedy store and has appeared at major festivals around the world. As well as being a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Sean also has his own show on Channel 4, TV Heaven, Telly Hell. He also wrote and stars in his own BBC sitcom 15 Storeys High.

Keeping to the comedy theme, additional tickets have now been released for Sarah Millican’s Outsider tour, which comes to HMT from Thursday, August 18 to Sunday, August 21. Sarah has completed three sell-out national tours and her newest offering promises to be equally fantastic.

Tickets for Sean Lock’s extra performance on Monday, October 10 are available from Friday, online at www.aberdeenperformingarts.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at The Lemon Tree and His Majesty's Theatre. Tickets for Sarah Millican’s tour are available now.
