Tickets available at Bon Accord Centre

Aberdeen Performing Arts is to open a temporary box office in one of Aberdeen’s busiest shopping centres to make it easier for busy families to snap up tickets to this year’s Christmas shows Jack and the Beanstalk and Jack and the Magic Beans as well as other shows, concerts and gigs.

The company will open an Aberdeen Box Office ticket booth at the Bon Accord Centre this Saturday (December 3) in addition to the permanent offices at His Majesty’s Theatre, Music Hall and The Lemon Tree.

“This is a busy time of year for everyone and we want to make it easier for our customers to get hold of tickets, gift cards and restaurant vouchers for our three venues,” said APA sales and marketing manager Lauren Taylor.

“It’s the ideal way to pair up two of the most popular activities over Christmas – shopping and show going!”

Starring Elaine C Smith, Alan McHugh, Jordan Young and Tom McGovern, Jack and the Beanstalk is being staged at His Majesty’s Theatre by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, and runs from Saturday (Dec 3) to Sunday, January 8.

And Jack and the Magic Beans – starring Michelle Bruce, Brad Morrison and Scott Miller – is a co-production by APA and Scottish Youth Theatre, running at The Lemon Tree Studio from Monday (Dec 5) until Christmas Eve.

Tickets for both shows are available at the Bon Accord Centre ticket booth, online at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall, His Majesty’s Theatre and The Lemon Tree.
