His Majesty's Theatre

Q:What do His Majesty’s Theatre, the London Coliseum,  the London Palladium and the Belfast Grand Opera House have in common?

A:They are all category A listed national treasures designed by Frank Matcham, the foremost theatre designer of the Victorian era

His Majesty’s Theatre built in 1906 and lovingly looked after ever since, truly is a national treasure.  A contemporary  extension in 2005 creates an exciting blend of modern and historic architecture and gives us additional spaces for hospitality and dining.  HMT’s stunning auditorium was described by Billy Connolly as a gigantic wedding cake!
