The Box Office is open at His Majesty’s Theatre and the Music Hall Monday - Saturday, from 9.30am - 6pm. On the evening of performances, the Box Offices will usually be open one hour before the performance start time. This can vary for certain gigs at The Lemon Tree Box Office.
1906 Café is open Monday - Saturday from 9.30am, serving drinks and cold food. 1906 Restaurant is open from 10.30am for an all-day menu with a pre-theatre menu being served from between 5pm and 7.30pm.

Level access is available in all our venues with a lift available to all floors ( excluding balcony level at His Majesty’s Theatre)
Disabled toilets are situated every venue and are equipped with grab rails, sink lever operated taps, low level mirrors and pull cord alarms.
We can accommodate several wheelchair user spaces in all of our venues. Please make Box Office aware when booking if you require a wheelchair user space. If the show is sold as standing we will have some seating available, If you could make Box Office aware when booking, this will be passed across to our performance staff to assist you.
We have Hearing Assistance in place at His Majesty’s theatre. This is an infra-red system that uses a headset or neck loop ( for hearing aid users) . These can be collected if required on arrival into the theatre from our Front of House assistants.
We regularly hold Audio described, BSL and Captioned performances.
Assistance Dogs are welcome.
At His Majesty’s Theatre the start time is the time printed on your ticket, the show will always start promptly at the advertised time. We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the time printed on your ticket. Access to the Bars and foyers will be from 1 hour prior to this time and access to the auditorium will be 30 minutes before the performance start time.
At The Lemon Tree Tickets will either be printed with a Doors Time, this will be the time that the front doors open and allow access into the venue, or a start Time which is the time the performance starts. When a performance is advertised as a start time access to the venue will be 45 minutes before the start of the performance.

For some shows we may have to ask you to wait for a suitable break in the performance before we can allow you to take your seats. Occasionally this can mean waiting until the interval. The admission of latecomers is solely at the discretion of the Duty Manager.
In His Majesty’s Theatre there are designated areas for coats situated in the old foyer and the stalls. Any belongings left in these areas are done so at the owner’s risk.
The Lemon Tree has a cloakroom situated opposite the Box Office. This is used only for certain shows and incurs a small fee of £2.
The theatre bars are always open before a show from 1 hour prior to the start of the performance, serving a range of drinks. You can also take your drink into the main auditorium for most shows, provided they are in the plastic cups found around the bar. As we expect our bars to be very busy during the interval, we recommend that you place your interval drinks order in any of our bars before the show begins.
In some shows at The Lemon Tree, the bar remains open during the performance. Only alcohol sold on the premises may be taken or consumed within the venues.
We sell an assortment of sweets, soft drinks, programmes and ice-creams in our venues. Our Front-of-House team also offers a selection of merchandise for certain shows in the foyers of our venues.
Toilets are located on every floor of our venues, with accessible toilets being located on certain levels at His Majesty’s Theatre and the Music Hall. These are well sign-posted throughout the building.
A lift is located in the foyers of His Majesty’s Theatre and The Lemon Tree; offering convenient access to all floors of the venues (with the exception of the Balcony at His Majesty’s Theatre). If you require additional assistance, please speak to a member of our Front of House team on your arrival at the theatre.
Some shows will use special effects such as strobe lighting, smoke effects or loud noises. Whenever possible, signage will be placed throughout the building advising you about the use of special effects. If you have any concerns regarding the use of special effects, please contact Box Office on 01224 641122.
Whether a show has an interval depends on the length of the show. Most shows have an interval which will last for 15 or 20 minutes. During this time, you can remain in your seat, visit one of the venue’s bars, or enjoy an ice-cream available for purchase on every level. As we expect our bars to be very busy during the interval, we recommend that you place your interval drinks order in any of our bars before the show begins.
Please note, as the bar remains open throughout a show at the Lemon Tree Lounge pre-orders are not available. There are also no pre-orders for a Lemon Tree Studio show.

At His Majesty’s Theatre we have booster seats available for children, these are given out on a first come first served basis and are available in all levels from our front of House staff. Please leave your booster seat on your seat at the end of the performance where it will be collected.
