Face Coverings

Scottish Government requires us all – team and customers to wear face coverings (unless you are drinking, dining or are medically exempt), in all indoor areas of our buildings. Please bring yours with you, but we will have spares too.

Cloakroom

We are not offering a cloakroom facility for the time-being, so please minimise the items you bring as you’ll need to keep them with you at all times.

Cleaning and Hygiene

Our venues will be cleaned regularly and after each performance with an emphasis on high touch points. We have expanded our housekeeping team and we have enhanced hygiene procedures in place. This includes thorough cleans between performances and deep cleanse fogging of all areas on a regular basis. We have hand sanitiser stations at entrances and throughout our venues and would encourage you to use them.

Lateral Flow Tests

We would ask that customers continue to regularly use free lateral flow tests as provided by the NHS. Our staff are tested regularly.

Personal Space

Where possible please be mindful of personal space and keep a safe distance particularly when moving around our venues. We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe.

Eat and Drink

Our Café Bar, Coda, will be open in the Music Hall from September 2021 and light bites – cakes, sandwiches and refreshments will be available.  Our café and restaurant at His Majesty’s Theatre will remain closed for now as it is our priority to ensure we have enough circulation space in our foyer and box office areas. Our Bars will be open for pre-show and interval drinks. We are also planning a makeover of our food and beverage services at His Majesty’s Theatre so watch this space!

Ice-creams, Merchandise and Programmes

We advise you to have the correct change ready to minimise cash handling and to maintain a safe distance in the queue when buying.

Ventilation

We’ve increased ventilation throughout our venues. This might make some areas a bit cooler, so please dress appropriately.

Stage Door

For everyone’s safety, Stage Door will only be open to cast, crew, staff and pre-approved visitors only. Unfortunately, artists and cast members will not be available for autographs and photographs.
