Light The Blue 2023 – Youth Arts Meet Up Event (Rescheduled)

Thursday 12th January 2023, 11am – 3pm | Music Hall, Aberdeen

We are pleased to announce a rescheduled date for this event after cancelling the original December Meet-Up due to staff illness.

Aberdeen Performing Arts are hosting an event for organisations and facilitators who work creatively with young people in/around the city to connect, share ideas and look towards future collaborations as part of Light The Blue 2023 and beyond.

Light The Blue is our multi-artform festival for and by young people which takes place in June each year. We want to celebrate the creativity of young people aged 5-25 and offer inspirational experiences through a collaborative, cross-organisation approach.

Join us for a series of conversations and open space sessions to embrace joined-up thinking and explore ideas for Light The Blue 2023 as well as wider youth arts activity across the city.

The event will take place on Thursday 12th January, 11am – 3pm at the Music Hall, Union Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1QS. A light lunch will be provided.

The event is open to professionals who work creatively with young people in/around Aberdeen – e.g. delivering drama, dance, music, visual arts, film or other artistic activity. Representatives from organisations and independent practitioners are welcome.
