Aberdeen Chamber Music Concerts: Freeman Quartet

The Freeman String Quartet is a young ensemble, formed in 2017 at the Royal Northern College of Music.  Xander Croft and Pijus Jonušas (violins), Chance Freeman (viola) and Felix Hughes (cello) have won prizes at the RNCM and performed in venues across the UK.

They were Tunnell Trust Award winners in September 2020, and their current tour of Scotland is funded by the Trust.  Their appearance at Aberdeen Chamber Music Concerts will feature works by Schubert, Britten and Beethoven.
