Dates: Mondays 3rd September, 17th September, 1st October 2018.

Times: 5.30pm-8pm on 3/9 and 17/9, and 5pm-8.30pm on 1/10.

Age Range: 16-21 Year Olds

Cost: £31 inc bf for all three sessions (participants must commit to all three sessions)

A series of three Audition Preparation workshops for those aged 16-21 who want to learn more about the process of auditioning for actor training and increase their experience and confidence in this area. The workshops will be led by Nicholas Barton-Wines, a theatre maker who trained at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on their BA Acting course. He has taught workshops across Scotland as well as being a lecturer on the RCS Junior Conservatoire Acting programme.

By the end of the workshop series, particiapnts will have:

  • Deepened their understanding of how to select and prepare successful audition monologues

  • Explored exercises and techniques to analyse monologues and prepare them for performance

  • Gained an insight into audition and interview processes

  • Taken part in a mock audition and received feedback
